Date Selection

Date Selection is an ancient Chinese practice used to choose an auspicious date for important activities and events. This practice aims to align the energies of these activities with favorable conditions, increasing the likelihood of success and reducing potential difficulties. Based on the Hsia calendar, Date Selection involves complex calculations to take into account various factors, such as your birthday (your energy), the day’s energy, month’s and year’s energy, the Five Elements, and astrological considerations. The goal is to identify a time when the universal energies are most supportive of the action being considered, whether it’s opening a business, getting married, moving into a new house, or starting a new job. In Feng Shui, Date Selection is seen as essential for achieving harmony and favorable outcomes. To determine an auspicious date, we required your birthday, including birth time if known, as well as a description and goals for the important date or event. Pricing: $150 per one Date Selection

Our Date Selection Practitioner(s)

After leaving her career in high-tech corporate finance and financial advisory, Fran began her studies in Feng Shui with Master Paul Yan since 2015. She further expanded her knowledge by studying Bazi, iChing, and Feng Shui under Grand Master Raymond Lo of Hong Kong. True to her explorative nature, Fran spent the last three years studying shamanism under the guidance of a master shaman from Siberia. Fran delved into the realms of energy healing seeking to integrate these new practices with Taoism, where she saw many parallels with the five elements, Chinese zodiac animals embodying yang and yin forms of the five elements to represent key energies in the universe. She found these Chinese zodiac animals reflected in the protective toli’s of Siberian and Mongolian traditions. Moreover, she had learned about the Taoist Seven Stars Path which is the path of the Big Dipper pattern when she first studied Feng Shui. This constellation is associated with the Bear Energy, a concept present in Siberia, Mongolian, and North American shamanic traditions. Fran continues to practice Feng Shui, offering assistance to both her friends and clients. Fran’s journey now guides her towards an awakening from within, embracing the endless essence of the light. In her personal time, she is an avid traveller, having visited six continents and 43 countries.
